Around 300 exhibitors and 500 publishers from 15 countries attended the inaugural BUCH WIEN book fair in November 2008 at Messe Wien. The related reading festival added a further 340 events at 75 different locations throughout the Austrian capital. In total, 475 writers and 31,300 book and literature lovers were involved.

Encouragingly, some 89% of visitors surveyed at the 2008 event indicated that they intended to return for BUCH WIEN 2009. The event has a great deal of potential for exhibitors. Attend

Facts and figures:

• The international book fair will be located in Hall D at the Messe Wien. Entrance D in Trabrennstrasse is easily and quickly accessible from the U2 underground station. Car drivers can reach the Messe Wien building within just three minutes from Car Park D. How to reach us and Parking.
• From November 12-14 visitors of the Interpaedagogica trade fair (Hall C) will also have free access to BUCH WIEN when showing a valid ticket.
