Vienna takes visitors on a literary journey with its rich architectural heritage and wide range of attractions including art, culture, music and theatre. The city captures people’s hearts with its enchanting winding alleys, charming locals and enticing coffee houses. The charm of a former imperial city and its role as an interface between East and West and the endless range of attractions for pleasure seekers make the Austrian capital a highly sought after destination.
Last year another interesting and sophisticated event was added to Vienna’s portfolio of cultural attractions – BUCH WIEN - international book fair and reading festival.
In 2008 about 31,100 book and literature fans attended the international book fair and the reading festival. This year the international fair will be held from November 12-15, 2009 at Messe Wien. The reading festival will take place at a range of attractive locations throughout the city from November 9 - 15. |
