Austria’s international book fair - BUCH WIEN will take place at Messe Wien for the second time from Nov 12-15, 2009. The show provides an unique environment for international exhibitors to present their books and book related products. At the same time, the BUCH WIEN offers a visionary symposium on translation focusing on Central and Southeast Europe.
At the initial BUCH WIEN in 2008, about 300 exhibitors and 500 publishers from 15 different countries seized the opportunity to successfully present their publishing houses, companies, and an impressive variety of genres:
At BUCH WIEN 09 authors, publishers, and translators will gather in order to network and make use of the attractive programme for professional visitors. Additionally, the multi-category book shows as well as readings on numerous stages grant an entertaining programme for the reading public.
All visitors could take their desired or selected reading material from the BUCH WIEN bookstore.

- The international book fair will be located in Hall D at the Messe Wien. Entrance D in Trabrennstrasse is easily and quickly accessible from the U2 underground station. Car drivers can reach the Messe Wien building within just three minutes from Car Park D. How to reach us and Parking.
- From November 12-14 visitors of the Interpaedagogica trade fair (Hall C) will also have free access to BUCH WIEN when showing a valid ticket.
